Last week, rumors started around the world saying that Christina had denied (and laughed) about going to her girl friend Britney Spears Circus Tour.

According to the examiner.com, that story is so false that she was not even offered tickets for the show, so how could she deny it?

Call it a hunch, but I think “Burlesque” already has its place in film history set. Not only will it be the acting debut of Christina Aguilera, but the modern musical has signed on the music icon of all icons: the one and only Cher. Yeah. It’s going to be flamboyant.

According to Variety, Aguilera will play an ambitious small-town girl fresh from the cornfields of Iowa. Possessing one heck of a voice (hey, it’s Aguilera) she goes West to pursue her singing and dancing dreams. The aspiring star winds up in a neo-burlesque club on Sunset Boulevard that’s run by Tess (Cher), a former dancer who struggles to keep the club open and gives the young girl a chance to become a star.

Christina Aguilera’s 16-month-old son loves doing housework. The ‘Beautiful’ singer is amazed by how much Max Liron – her first son with husband Jordan Bratman – loves cleaning and says helping in the home is his favourite pastime.

She said: “Vacuum was one of his first words! He has a cleaning fetish and he loves to run around with a rag and dust and clean, and he loves to clean his high chair after he’s done eating. It’s so cute! I’ll lift him down and the first thing he does is to take a rag and clean off his chair. He’s mommy’s little helper.”

She should  be proud! Not all mommas are lucky to have helpful kids. So Cute!

Christina Aguilera will make her first big-screen appearance in the musical ‘Burlesque,’ Variety reports.

Directed by Steven Antin (‘Chasing Papi’ scribe), the film will follow a small-town girl who follows her dreams to Los Angeles where she finds romance performing at a burlesque club.

‘Burlesque’ was written with her in mind, according to reports. It will start shooting later this year.

Stepping out for an evening on the town, Christina Aguilera and her husband Jordan Bratman were spotted out in West Hollywood last night (April 27).

The “Ain’t No Other Man” songstress and her adoring hubby took in The Faint and Ladytron gig at Music Box @ Fonda before heading to The Room for some after-concert drinks.

There are reports out there that Christina Aguilera is interested in starring in “Burlesque,” a film about a modern-day striptease dancer, sources tell E! Online.

Although the site doesn’t have further information about how far along she is in the process of securing the role, there is word that “Dancing With the Stars” favorite Julianne Hough has also met with producers about co-starring as a pregnant showgirl.

Steve Antin, whose sister is Pussycat Dolls creator Robin Antin, wrote the script and is reportedly going to direct the film as well. Screen Gems, the studio behind the project, has confirmed that the movie in development, but added that it’s “too preliminary to comment on.” The studio is aiming for a January 2010 production start date.

The X Factor 2007 contestent told OK Magazine that he  could learn a lot from the American popstar.

‘I love to collaborate on stage with people and I’d love to eventually work with a diva like her,’ Rhydian tells Now Online.

The 2009 campaign, developed by Trey Laird of Laird + Partners in conjunction with Stephen Webster, will feature jewelry styles from both Webster’s fine jewelry and silver collections. She is featured wearing cutting edge, iconic designs of cuffs, rings, earrings, and necklaces. The campaign will launch worldwide in May.

The inspiration for the campaign stems from Webster’s Glam Rock style and the popstar’s sexy new contemporary look.
