Christina Aguilera will make her first big-screen appearance in the musical ‘Burlesque,’ Variety reports.

Directed by Steven Antin (‘Chasing Papi’ scribe), the film will follow a small-town girl who follows her dreams to Los Angeles where she finds romance performing at a burlesque club.

‘Burlesque’ was written with her in mind, according to reports. It will start shooting later this year.
